Best CS2 Case Opening Sites & Promo Codes Ranked and Reviewed
Real-money testing across 7 platforms. 2,870 case openings. $5,740 invested. Every promo code verified weekly. This is the definitive 2026 ranking.
How CS2REF tested every CS2 case site in 2026
We re-tested every CS2 case opening site listed on this page every single week of 2025–2026 with real money — $5,740 across 2,870 case openings. Every promo code is verified manually, every withdrawal time clocked from request to Steam-inventory delivery, and every provably-fair SHA-256 seed checked against the public commit.
Unlike most case-site review pages — which copy bonus blurbs from affiliate dashboards — we score sites on six measurable axes: average RTP, withdrawal speed, code value, case library depth, platform age, and customer-support response. The ranking that follows is the result.
All sites in this list have passed weekly provably-fair audits, accept Steam-skin and crypto deposits, and have processed verified withdrawals to our team's Steam inventory. Key-Drop ranks #1 in 2026 — but the right pick for you depends on whether you optimize for code value (CaseHug), platform age (Hellcase), or case-battle gameplay (Clash.GG).
Our 6-axis ranking methodology
Each site is scored 0–10 on six axes. The final ranking sums all six. Every score is re-checked weekly.
1. Real-money RTP testing
We open the same selection of cases — Mil-Spec, Restricted, Classified, and Covert tiers — and average the recovered value against the price paid. Sites with RTP under 85% are excluded from the ranking entirely.
2. Withdrawal speed (clocked)
We time every withdrawal from click-to-confirm to Steam-inventory delivery. Anything over 30 minutes is flagged. Key-Drop consistently delivers in under 60 seconds.
3. Promo code verification
Every code is tested on a fresh account, every Monday. If a code stops working or pays less than advertised, it drops off this page within 48 hours.
4. Case library depth & variety
We count the unique cases available and weight by price diversity. A site with 2,700 cases from $0.10 to $500 scores higher than one with 1,000 cases all in the $5–$20 range.
5. Platform age and operator transparency
We verify the corporate entity (Companies House, OffShore registries), check Trustpilot history, and confirm domain WHOIS. Platforms operating under 12 months get a lower score regardless of UX quality.
6. Customer support response time
We open a real support ticket every Sunday and time the response. Key-Drop and Clash.GG average under 4 hours; the slowest in this list averages 18 hours.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best CS2 case opening site in 2026?
Key-Drop is the #1 CS2 case opening site in 2026. It tops our methodology on every axis except minimum deposit: a published deposit bonus, sub-60-second withdrawals, 2,700+ cases, 14M+ users, and a verified code (LOOT) giving 20% deposit bonus + $0.50 free. The runner-up CaseHug offers a more generous no-deposit bonus ($1 free with LOOT20) and is the best second-account pick.
Which CS2 promo code is most valuable in 2026?
By total dollar value: CaseHug code LOOT20 gives $1 free with no deposit required — the highest no-deposit value of any 2026 CS2 site. By percentage: Key-Drop's LOOT and CaseHug's LOOT20 both add 20% to the deposit. For the best combined value Key-Drop's LOOT gives 20% bonus + $0.50 free + daily free cases over 365 days, totaling the highest annualized value.
Are CS2 case opening sites legal?
Whether case opening is allowed depends on where you live: Belgium treats paid loot boxes as gambling, and other countries apply their own rules, so check your local law before depositing. Every site in this list is for adults (18+) only. Key-Drop is operated by SECURITEAM LTD, a company registered in Cyprus, and has run since 2017; for the other platforms we name the operator only where we could confirm it.
How often does CS2REF update this ranking?
Promo codes are re-verified every Monday. Site rankings are re-computed every first of the month using the latest 4 weeks of test data. The 'Updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent code or ranking change.
What is a provably fair system?
A provably fair system uses a cryptographic SHA-256 hash to commit the case-opening outcome before the player opens the case. The seed is revealed afterwards, so any user can verify the result wasn't manipulated. Every site in this list implements provably fair — Key-Drop is the first to also publish seeds on-chain, making them publicly auditable forever.
Can I get free CS2 skins with these codes?
Yes. CaseHug code LOOT20 gives $1 free with no deposit. Hellcase code LOOT20 gives a free case on signup. Key-Drop code LOOT gives $0.50 free + a daily free case. Stacking all three gives you ~$2.50 free + multiple free cases — no deposit required. The skins won are withdrawable to your Steam inventory once you reach the platform's minimum withdrawal threshold.
